Okay, so I know I've been gone for a looong time. But now, I'm starting to come back, slowly.
To kick off my return, I'm announcing TWO new releases happening this year. first, on the 21st of July, the final book in the Caged Trilogy will be released. Howl is going to be the most jam-packed, heart-racing book yet so if you haven't read the first two, get to it!
The second release happening this year is the much-anticipated fourth book in the Unfortunate Blood series, Angelic Nightmare. The current release date is set for 7th October.
Also, I'm hoping to finish the final book in the Blaze Trilogy and get it published this year, but we'll see. And yes, I'm still working on the sequel to Red Dagger, which I know a lot of you are DYING for.
In other news, I'll be attending the Celtic Thistle Book Signing in Grangemouth in July. This is only my second book signing and I really hope to see some familiar, and some new faces there.
So, keep an eye on my Facebook page as I update there more often than here.
Now, I know everyone loves a giveaway, so I'm giving my lovely readers a chance to win a $10 Amazon giftcard and a SECRET prize! Yup, secret. All you have to do is comment on this post and go Like my author page on facebook: www.facebook.com/authorhglynch
That's it! Easy peasy! The giveaway will close on the 30th of May, so be quick and good luck!
Hey all. I know it's been a loooong time. I'm not very good at this blogging thing. I never know what to write, or I just plain forget. But I'm going to try and get better.
Right, first of all, Happy New Year! (Bit late, I know)
Secondly, you may have seen or heard that I've had some books released since I was last on here. Defiant (Blaze Trilogy #1) was released in November, The Toy Box (18+ warning!) was released in December and The Revenant's Soul will be released in a couple of weeks. You can find them all on my My Books page for blurbs and buy links.
Thirdly, you may have noticed the new page on the website - Author Services. I'm now selling pre-made cover designs for $30 each, and I make author swag (bracelets, necklaces, bookmarks) for various prices on my Etsy, which you'll find the link to on the homepage.
I've also decided that because I suck at blogging, I'm going to try (keyword there: try) to do book reviews on here...if I ever get time to read again! If you ant me to review your book and post it on here, Amazon and Goodreads, use the contact form on the Author Bio page and put your book title, genre, and author name in the subject line.
Anyway, gotta jet. I have a manuscript to edit!
I know it's a bit late, seeing as the signing was on the 15th, but I thought I ought to let you guys know how it went - it went great! My first ever book signing as an author, and I met a bunch of lovely people. I sold some books, some jewellery, and signing a million books, canvases and kindle covers. I was there with my friend and fellow author Carmilla Voiez, who is just the sweetest person! She really helped me hold it together despite all my nerves.
Safe to say, I'll be doing more book signings in future.
Me on the left.
It's here, it's here! The first book in the Reaper Born trilogy is live on Amazon! Ruairidh has been unleashed to cause havoc on the world and make women swoon at his feet. Demons, look out, 'cause he's coming for you!
You may have notice some - or a lot - of changes to the website. That's because I decided it needed a new look. It's about time I freshened it up a bit and added all my new books to the My Books page. Also, I've changed the homepage a little too - from now on I'll be featuring a new book n the homepage every month. Sometimes it'll be one of my own new books, and sometimes it'll be books by authors I work with. So remember to check back every so often to see which book is being featured, and find out which new books I've got out!
Also I have some big news - I'm going to be attending the Silver City Book Signing on the 15th in my hometown, Aberdeen. It's my first book signing, so I'm a little nervous but so excited! Hopefully I'll make some new fans there!
Oh, and remember to check out my store page for some fun merchandise for my books, like hoodies tshirts and jewellery. Support an indie author! It doesn't cost much, and I put a lot of time and money into my books - you buying a t-shirt could mean an extra blog tour for my next book!
Alrighty, I am H.G. Lynch, and this is my blog. Here I will be posting about my books, my crafts, and probably about the books I read. I am new to blogging so bear with me while I figure it out.
Today's post is just an introduction to tell you a little about myself and my books.
I started writing at 15, finished my first novel at 16, and got published at 18. Since then, I've had two more books published, and I have six novels and a short story due for release this year - yup, I've been very busy.
The third book in my vampire series, Unfortunate Blood, will be out at the end of this month. Among my other soon-to-be-released works are the first in a werewolf love-triangle trilogy, titled Run, and a dystopian zombie novel called Radioactive. I also have my first erotica piece, a short story, coming out in June.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching Star Trek (The Next Generation was epic, and currently halfway through Deep Space Nine) and horror movies. I like to draw, and my new hobby is making jewellery which you can find on my store page. My music tastes range from Country to Hard Rock. My favourite bands include Nickelback, My Chemical Romance and Imagine Dragons.
I currently own over 300 books and I've run out of space for any more. I'm hoping to one day live in a library. My favourite books...well, there's a list. I'll just name a few: The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare, The Mara Dyer trilogy by Michelle Hodkins, The Shade trilogy by Jeri Smith-Ready and the Demon's Lexicon books by Sarah Rees Brennan. I could go on, but I'd be here all day naming my favourite reads.
Oh, I love cheese. I kid you not. Cheese pizza, cheese on toast, macaroni cheese...pretty much everything I eat has cheese in or on it. And I'm a caffeine addict - not coffee, which surprises most people, but Cocacola. I drink an obscene amount of Coke every day, which everyone tells me will rot my stomach.
Also, I loooooooooove hearing from readers - there's a contact form on my biography page if you feel like dropping me a line, asking a question, or just generally want to say hi. :) Don't be shy!
